Bandages off in 7 days... full recovery in about a month. Rub in some scar cream for a while to decrease sensitivity.

How many questions can I ask you to basically keep you tied up typing the rest of they day?

Did it hurt?
How's the scar?
When did you first notice it?
Did the doc say why you got it?
Should I stop using a mouse?
What's your favorite color?
Are horsies pretty on the inside too?

Yep... I broke my finger while I was in thesis writing mode. Terrible. If you're using OS X the voice input is pretty decent for casual language, not so great for technical writing though.
