The Goal: Pick the hottest group of women to join you on a deserted island for the rest of your life.

Official Rules

Participation

• All participants will declare their desire to participate by commenting in this thread (or sending me a PM).
• The draft order will be set some time on Tuesday, June 10th between 10am and 6pm PDT.
• All people who would like to participate please indicate so before that time.
• If the draft has started and you want to participate, we can probably still fit you in so pipe up. You might have to make your picks late or something but that should be fine.

Draft Specifics

• The draft order will be randomly selected by some online randomizer. I promise I won't cheat. If you don't trust me then screw you (and we can get somebody not participating to do the randomizing).
• The draft will be a snake draft (no pun intended), meaning that whoever has the last pick in one round will have the first pick in the next. For example, if we have six people they will pick like this: 1-2-3-4-5-6-6-5-4-3-2-1-1-2-3...
• There will be 15 16 rounds, meaning everybody gets 15 16 women. This is open for discussion, we can do more or fewer rounds if desired. The site that I saw running this had 16 people and 20 rounds.
• Each person will have 24 hours to make their pick. However, Saturday and Sunday don't count (although you can still pick on the weekends if it is your turn). The 24 hours starts after the previous person's pick or after the previous person's 24 hours expires (whichever comes first).
• Simply posting the name of your selection in this thread is enough to count it (or her) as being selected.
• If your turn is approaching and you know you will be away from the internet, you can PM your selection to me. Actually, it would be better if the selection was PM'd to a board regular who is not participating so that I am not compromised if my selection is approaching. If anybody not participating wants to volunteer please say so.
• If the person before you has not picked before the 24 hours is up, then you may (if you choose) skip your turn and make your pick at that time. Once you make your pick the person after you can pick as well, and so on.
• If your turn has been skipped, you may at any time make your pick for that turn. However, you cannot pick somebody who has already been selected after your turn was skipped. If somebody else picked your person then you are out of luck.

Selection Rules

• Please only select women who are 18 years old or older. Please only post or link to photos of your women from when they were 18 years or older.
• Please only select women who are famous or relatively well known. Do not pick your wife, your neighbor, or your co-worker.
• The forum I stole this from disallowed porn stars, but I don't think that will be a problem here. Use your own discretion.
• You can post or link to photos with your selection, although I would appreciate posting only photos that are suitable for work and linking (with disclaimers) to any others.
• Once a woman has been selected by someone else you can also post or link to your favorite photos of that individual just for the fun of it.

Judging (assuming we do this part)

• When the draft is complete, all teams will be listed and ES members will be allowed to vote on their favorite list.
• For the purposes of this contest, the women should be considered as they were in their primes, not as how they look today.
• Each participant should select one and only one image to be the official image of each selection. That image will be displayed in the judging thread after the draft. Other images can be displayed as well but the "official" image should be marked as such (or placed as the first or only image in the selection post).
• You will have until a few days after the draft to finalize your "official" images.
• I would prefer that all official images be suitable for work, but this is open to discussion.
• If you link to images, please be careful of what sites you link to. Nobody wants to get a virus or other malware loaded on their machine.

Being that I'll be out of town without internet for a while I think I'll sit this one out.

I still think you should participate unless you will be offline for weeks. This isn't going to be done overnight. Plus, you can always set up a draft order and PM it to me. When it's your turn I'll look at the next person on the list and if she hasn't been taken then I'll put in your pick.

Sweet! You basically pick in a draft format, so the idea is that if you want Alexis Bledel and your turn comes after ethic, then you're probably going to be out of luck since ethic will pick her during his turn. (If your turn comes first and you pick her, ethic will kill you - and not in the funny internet-tough-guy way.)

It's not really one lady a day, it depends on how fast people pick. At most there will be one day per person per pick, but it will probably go faster than that since people are online more often. If you're worried you'll miss your turn because you're not online often we can send a PM when it's your turn or something like that.

When it's done we'll all have different lists and everybody will vote on the best one. People who don't participate can vote as well, so we won't all vote for our own lists.

not to get off topic, but I just got off the phone with my brother who just moved to Indianapolis last fall and was surprised this past week of the level of severe weather they've had.  very crazy.
