iPhone Video Conversion

What program do you guys use to convert avi files and such to mp4? I bought AVS Video Converter but the POS keeps saying it doesnt support avi files and google has been no help

I usually watch my pron online on on DVD - not my iphone.

Handbrake word perfectly, and ever had presets for the iphone. thanks man
