Title: Adobe Illustrator anyone?
Post by: Mike on September 18, 2008, 04:32:37 PM
I want to use an icon from this set (http://www.monofactor.com/goodies/free-vector-icon-set-1/) but it comes as an AI file.  Anyone have the program that could turn them into regular files?

Illistrator or CorelDrawl. Post the one you want one of us can convert it to jpeg/png for ya. I have to find my IS cd though.

Corel is probably the best way to do it, but remember your going from a vector to a jpeg (or w/e) and your going to loose quality.

Load up the Ubuntu Server you got working earlier and run "inkscape". It's the standard Linux vector graphic package and it opens AI files and allows you to edit them and convert the end result
