The race he just finished was sick.  He was a full bodylength ahead of the other swimmers almost the whole time

Gymnastics has been pretty sick.  Congrats to China for blowing everyone away and to the USA for being able to get that bronze without any former Olympians.

Also, has anyone noticed the "drama" they like to stick into the events every so often?  It gets kind of annoying.

I think I've been watching too much TV lately.

Nope, it is called skip :P  Though I didn't watch any of the gymnastics and am currently like two days behind.

I saw the gymnastics as well - no one could touch China - they are spectacular. We did very good as well, and bronze is nothing to snuff at. By far my favorite to watch are the still rings - wow.

:(

Typical.

According to a former Chinese Olympic swimmer, they cheat like hell, and have some pretty sophisticated chemical farms to evade getting caught at it.  Lots of other interesting stories too.  She was in our wedding.
