New watch :)
« on: July 13, 2009, 11:24:26 PM »
Havent had a watch in years, so just curious which wrist you guys are wearing yours on? I honestly spent 20 minutes going back and forth....lol

My boss paid like $150 and wore it twice. He was a professional diver so hes into this stuff, and i love the water and want to start diving again so i didnt complain when he said he wanted to sell it and cut me a deal for $25 :D

Divex Professional 200M! The outside rim turns to operate as a timer, very handy :)
hey ethic if you and i were both courting lily allen..... oh wait, which one of us has a relationship that lasted more than the bus ride home?

I'm left handed, so right wrist.

but I haven't worn one in years either.

I'm right handed, so left wrist.

but I don't wear it often because I forget and/or I don't want to scratch the kid with it.

left wrist. Goes on in the morning, and comes off when I get home from work.

When I was in school I never took it off.

A few years ago I got a Citizen Calibre 2100 from my folks and love it - big face and heavy.

Haven't worn a watch in years. Got a pocket watch for my golden birthday (my grandfather's) but other than that no real need for a watch these days. I have clocks around me all the time reminding me what time it is.

I used to wear mine on the left wrist but with the face inside, made more sense to me to look at the inside of my write than the outside.

Feels weird to wear one now.

Wear one every work day.  Only wear it on weekends rarely.

Left arm.

Typical ugly Casio G-Shock.  I like them because they are waterproof, take about a decade of use before needing a battery, and the bezel is set down deep into the watch.  With the bezel this deep it it stays unscratched for years.  Anything with the flush or projecting bezel are scratched beyond use in a month or two.

Easily cleaned in the ultrasonic cleaner too!

correct, thats why traditionally, the knob to wind the watch is to the right of the face -- so that when wearing it on your left wrist you can easily wind it or set the time using your right hand.

us poor left-handed suckers have to take the watch off to wind it.

I'm like everyone else here... right-handed, left wrist.

This is similar to mine, except my entire band is silver: http://www.timex.com/gp/product/B0014E2JWS/sr=1-3/qid=1247600748/ref=sr_1_3/177-3050017-7208151?ie=UTF8&m=A1S5XB33AHYRMX&n=238532011&timexBrand=core
