aiight then, lets hear them scores.

Unfortunately most people on this board aren't in a place where they can play a quick 9 right now, so I'm sure this'll die sometime soon.

My best score on 9 is a 45.

I honestly don't remember my best. So much time passes between each round. :(

I'll assume that 9 hole scores are par 36 and 18 hole scores are par 72.

My best is around 96 on a par 70 I believe. I've score a 32 on a nine-hole par 27 course, though. Woo hoo!

I bought a ten-pack of twilight rounds for $100 at a local course (normally its about $15-17 for twilight). It looks similar to the one you're playing, maybe not quite as nice. That was three years ago (maybe four). I've used three of the ten. It's a good excuse to keep the game up, but I don't know if I'll have a free saturday or sunday afternoon anytime soon.

Post your scores when you get back (not that it is all about scores, but it is something to talk about). Let us know if you get any pars or nice shots.

Got out twice while in Arizona, shot a 98 (Dove Creek) and a 108 (Orange Tree).

Nice courses there, the carts have GPS so you can see exactly where you are and your distance to key parts of the whole. My best drive was (exactly) 250 yards in the middle of the fairway with a utility club (Taylor Made Rescue 4), its a hybrid iron/wood meant to replace your 3/4 iron. I love that thing.

I used my driver a couple of times, hit 1 house and 2 backyards.. I don't understand why my parents want to live on a golf course :dunno:

I've got a horrible slice sometimes with my driver. One time I got under one, it flew up and over the protective fence, over a row of houses, and apparently on to the street on the other side of the houses. Probably traveled over 300 yards!

Played on Saturday just gone, bloody hot! Was around 35c and 100% humidity.  Couldn't get through a full 18, cut it short at 12 as it was just too hot to go on.  Had a really good tee off from the 3rd, knocked it about 200m with a 5-iron, but otherwise a pretty ordinary game.  Kept score of myself (not of the group, it was a social/friendly between myself, my dad and my brother-in-law) til about the 9th, was somewhere around 70.  Last 9 I played I had around 66.  It was still great to get out and play, regardless of what was essentially a really bad game.  Looks like I probably won't get to play again until at least May, so I'm not complaining!

Played again yesterday, 9 hole course.  Was a shocker, my score was 61 on a par 31 course :( I had one sweet shot off a 9-iron on the 7th.  Was an absolute cracker, over water and two bunkers landed about 1m from the hole.  Again, very hot day (38c) and was a wee bit hung over from the night before.  Still I was hacking better than those kids out of that Hackers movie...

Played a twilight round (got in 12 holes) for the first time in almost three years. Didn't start off so good... two straight sliced drives out of bounds. Doh! But otherwise I'm happy. I played pretty well. If you score laxly then I played a little better than double-bogey golf.

I can't wait to get back out there in a few years. The guys in the clubhouse were shocked to see my 10-play card from 7-8 years ago still being used (now I've got 6 left). One guy said I must be a regular. Yeah, if by that he means regularly coming every three years, then sure.

I went to a range July 4th for the first time in like, 10 years?  Apparently I have a baseball swing when it comes to driving.
