Oregon Trail
« on: December 17, 2007, 01:49:27 PM »
Now there's a classic.

My stepdad and I got so good at it that we both easily passed Stephen Meeks and filled up the top 10 list with scores that were only 1 point apart (actually 3 points apart but that's really 1 point that is tripled if you do it on the hard level or something).

I want to play that game again.

Ha! I never knew Stephen Meek was a real person... I thought he was a programmer who put his name at the top of the list... that's a nice touch.

I always died of dysentery or something lame like that.

my wife bought the game a couple years ago on the "4.99" rack.  I think she had to install a mac-mod program (which makes your computer think you're running the apple IIe OS) to make it work.

Yes... I did.

But mine's better. That's why you posted in mine but nobody's posted in yours yet.

Not bad for a first try. If only Miguel hadn't died...

Woot!

Eat that Stephen!!

By the way, I uploaded the simulator and game to our members area in case anybody wants to play but is too lazy to find the downloads themselves. There's a folder with everything you need and a zip file that has everything that is in the folder.

Both probably include this high score list... so good luck! ;)
