Photoshop Question
« on: May 15, 2008, 08:27:48 PM »
I am taking a picture of a tree (a specific product of the company) from a digital camera, and putting it on their website. They want it used as part of the border, though, so i need to get rid off the background, and replace it with the same color as the background of their site. In other words i need just the tree, and drop it onto a background image the same as the websites background. I tried "cutting" the tree out but my results really suck. Is there an easy(ier) way to do something like this?

If it matters im using PS CS3
hey ethic if you and i were both courting lily allen..... oh wait, which one of us has a relationship that lasted more than the bus ride home?

Search youtube for "i suck at photoshop"... it's series of 5 videos and one of them shows cutting a hammock out of a background.  I don't remember the exact technique.

Yeah, there's some good CS3 videos on improvements they made to doing that kind of stuff.
