I've added a few and I still have several to upload.

Is there any way someone could go through the archive-that-shall-not-be-named, grab a thread, and create a theme based off of those colors?
Fuck, if Rick could do it (with my help as, like, a 14 year old), any of us could.

Yeah, but I'm quite partial to the color scheme. Screw the symbolism, I actually liked it :(.

went through the themes, so far think the default is prolly the best.
kenf's was a close second. would have been first, if it wasn't so ... well green. :p

i tried a couple of these so called themes...the firefox one was ok but it ddnt have a different icon thing for when there are new posts so now im back to the default

I made a blue one (VariantBlue) which is even less of a tweak of the default style than VariantGreen; hope it's ok.

D00der... you keep using that shitty logo. Update the variant blue logo.

Oops: it inherits the other one as a default. :(
But I've changed it to the other shitty logo now. :)

I think you should pull the string on argon fixed - cause it aint. Many of the images are missing...it looks like a decent theme otherwise.

VariantDark might be nicer if the rest of the colors didn't totally clash with it. Do we need some Queer Eye for the Scot Guy in here? :lick:

ohhh, i like the dark one... but the e-sink logo looks bad with it.. its all rough around the edges.
edit: hmmm, all the images look that way. Im back to default :dunno:

You might want to lighten up the blue link text, it's a bit dark. Also, as I'm sure you're aware, the box around the reply box is a bit too light, compared to the rest.
Other than that, I think it may become my new default. <3
Or maybe darken the link text. I don't know. Whatever looks better. Just the thin, I've-already-seen-this-post links look sort of hard to see.
Darker would be better, I think; lighter is probably worse.

Actually, the reply box is a bit of a supernova against the dark background. Ouch. :(

just wondering, why is the stylesheet code embedded in the html as opposed to being a separate file? not a complaint, just wondering
if i provided a stylesheet can i add a theme?

Themes require an updated XML file, which I can provide to you, but maybe you should just wait until I setup the test board... maybe today.
Either way, I've uploaded a few new styles and I've got a few more.

Warning: Emerald blue seems to be missing a lot of images. It's all pissed up.

For VariantDark I've darkened the text edit areas and fixed some of the buttons so they don't have all that lighter crap around them; the icons are unchanged and I've left the hyperlink colours unchanged, too. If you still prefer them - or anything else - to be changed then let me know.

Hey Ken I really like VariantDark, but you've changed th link colors now...they actually blend in with the background and you have to rollover them for highlight :( could you change it back, pleeeaaasssseee

Yeah... I was using it for a bit yesterday... and it was great. But now that the unread links blend, I had to go back to the VariantBlue. (which I also like)

Anyone care to give me a screenie of what they mean? The link colours are still the same for me in firefox - unchanged. :dunno:
edit: Actually, I tell a lie - I had changed the 'visited' colour but I couldn't see any difference. I've restored it to it's original value - how's that?

I like VariantBlue better... the black text on the dark background is harder to see IMO.
Hey Fitlike... I'm kinda in the same boat with -Ken- (although we're sitting at opposite ends and he's keeping HIS FUCKING HANDS TO HIMSELF!), but could you try to hack up a version of the old FD? I did like those colors quite a bit.

Well, either way, I didn't like it being fixed width either. I will happily change that setting for the other themes that aren't full width if people ask for it.

i like the pinstriped - its classy and elegant - but there is no entropysink logo on it (and i get a bit confused with the coloured balls next to the thread names - which ball means what i have to keep matching the colours but its nice) - i did like the SoftBlue on JBoard that was very nice

Yeah... I was using the softblue on jboard too. I wonder if fitlike could copy those colors over here. And I bet he could fix the logo too.... I could look into that one also.
