company's holiday game
« on: December 10, 2010, 10:50:13 AM »
so my company is doing an online flash game for the holidays.  Its based on the children's image-card game "Memory."  You flip over two cards, each containing a picture of an employee here - if they match, the person says a quote from their favorite holiday movie.

Before we email this out, can a few of you play through and let me know if you have any problems with the game itself, or any other aspect of the micro-site?  I'd didn't do the flash programming or the design; just the site, facebook hook-ins and "send to a friend" email system.

the link can be found on my personal site: http://mjmwebservices.com/fwd.php

I found it slightly creepy that you were the first one I clicked on.  Yours was by far the best one.  LOL.

No issues on latest stable FF on Windows 7.

That was pretty neat.

Ran without problems on Safari (5.0.2), FF (3.6.13) and Chrome (8.0) on Mac OS X (10.6.4)

  thanks guys.

There were a couple reports internally of bugs like, once you flipped a card over it wouldn't flip over again... but we haven't been able to replicate that.  Glad to see its working for everyone else!!

There was some delay when in when I could flip another card over again after a "bah humbug," but that seemed to fix itself magically.  That was cute.

Had the same problem, especially when I was impatient bastard and wanted to move on before it was ready for me to (there was a pause after the humbug on a few).  Mildly annoying but mostly due to my impatience. Cool holiday idea.
