Faith No More - Mouth to Mouth

as much as i like faith no more this wouldn't really fit with the rest of my playlist. neither does diamond head, but my friend just did a rendition of it at the last open mic of the year.

//changed playlist to reflect govtcheez's suggestion of neutral milk hotel

Supergrass - Prophet 15
(I'd mix it in with Squeeze..for some reason that's who this song reminds me of)

I used to like to do themed shows once in a while, great songs that you never hear from bands that you hear all the time (The Kinks - Death of a Clown),  cover songs (Foo Fighters - Down in the Park), try to do a whole setlist of songs that have "hey" in the lyrics (or dude, or any grunting noise, you could go on for weeks with it...), and the ever popular "Music to Hang Yourself By". You're well on you way with the last one since you have that Joy Division album out.
One time I did a whole hour of Christmas covers on the Jazz show. It was July. In Columbia SC. The temperature had topped 100 for 20 of the past 30 days (real temp, not heat index). People hated me for that. I wasn't paid, so I couldn't be fired.
Isn't college radio fun?

Sugar - Hoover Dam
You could put it next to the Husker Du for the "also played with" segue.

When is your show on anyway?
