I'm not going to write a big long review for this, since that's been done plenty of times already.  Buy this.  Buy this now!

There's a guy here at work that plays games like that.  He's a dork.

Mike: Just cancel your WoW account for a couple months.  Totally worth it.

I don't like it much. :( I got it a while ago, fired it up once but just haven't been able to get into it.

I do like the idea of missionaries/world religions, though.

I was a druid. What were you?
Warlock was my main and Hunter secondary.  Yeah, all bets are off when the expansion comes, whats the ETA on that anyways?

Hunter to 60, druid to 46, rogue up to mid 20s, then a bunch of other lowbie alts.

I'll buy it off of you Ken :)

Once I am capable of playing it, I might get it. Looks like a great game.

tried it at a friends, didn't really care for it. But I'm bias I guess, don't really care for turn based games.

That's the nice thing about Civ IV - every game is different!  No tedious powerlevelling, just opponent crushing.

Civ > WoW

What do you want to know about it?  It's basically the same as playing the game, but with human opponents.  You can play over a LAN, the Internet, hotseat, or even by e-mail.

You picked up on the Leonard Nimoy thing a lot faster than me :)

I'm assuming you make your moves and then the game emails a file to the other person so they can do theirs.

Playing by e-mail would take forever, though.

So I've been playing a while and am really enjoying it.  The XML files make it so much more fun :p

I really like the UN thing but it'd be nice if you could still build it even if diplomatic victory is off.  All you'd have to do is not make that one resolution selectable.

The team thing kicks ass.  Though whatever you do, don't select one city challenge, put all the AI on the same team, and leave Domination as a victory condition.

Don't do it man.  Just say no!

Wait for http://www.ageofconan.com/ to come out.  It'll be so nice to play a game where I don't have to worry about being "family" friendly
