Title: Olympic Hockey Jerseys
Post by: Perspective on November 04, 2009, 04:03:54 PM
Well, the International Team of Olympic Bastards in Charge of Messing Shit up for No Reason (the ITOBCMSNR) decided to outlaw logos of organisations (such as Hockey Canada and USA Hockey) on Olympic Jerseys. Apparently it's been a rule for a while, but was just never enforced.

So Canada and the US had to redisign their jerseys. Canada's ended up pretty good, I'm not a big fan of the diagonal USA one though, but the other ones are aiight.

Old ones:

I like the new USA ones a lot better than the old ones.  The new Canadian ones look like they should belong to a Eastern European country or something.  Much prefer the old ones, which were fantastic.

yeah, nothin beats the Hockey Canada logo... at least it's still on the arm. The new leaf is supposed to have Native style artwork to celebrate the Vancouver-ness of the olympics.

That's cool, but all I see is a big red star and CCCP

sounds more likely the ITOBCMSNR was not bribed enough from sponsors.
