The only thing I am going to force is IF she likes football then she must be a Broncos fan.  But if she takes after my wife then she'll likely hate football all together and thats ok.  I'll try and make it fun for her though to see if it sticks.

For baseball she must like the Dodgers or Rockies.  I'll disown her if she likes the Yankees, Red Sox, or god forbid the Giants.

I think "make her into a fan" is just going on the assumption that the plan is foolproof to turn her into a fan naturally and without force.

I actually wouldn't mind making an "event" out of certain sporting events to make them more attractive to my girls, but I'm too lazy to do that beyond saying... "hey look, this is a big game." Most I've done is little things like have her pick horses for the Kentucky Derby, or show who the fastest person alive and tell her his name is "Bolt" or stuff like that. It actually gets her to watch, but races are short enough that a four year old can stay without getting bored. We'll see if she ever sticks around for a full game.

Early on the kids abviously didn't pay alot of attention, but we always had good fun with them, pizza and good family times.  Always good memories win or lose.  We made em into fans without any negative anything....
