Vista SP1
« on: July 08, 2008, 10:24:43 AM »
:dblthumb2: Good stuff.  Definite performance enhancements and things seem to be running smoothly.  It also somehow freed up a bunch of space (consolidation of updates or something, I assume).

Typical Microsoft where it takes a SP before it's any good.

Dells now ship with sp1 vista. They jumped right on that. The last 4 I touched did anyway and one of them was just an off the shelf setup

you know, thats a good point. I might not be allowed to... except, she doesn't know how to access the wireless lan or printer so I'll have to do at least that much.  Plus, I have all her files I backed up that she'll want me to restore.
