Title: New buzz word for "Portal"
Post by: hans on October 19, 2008, 02:42:23 PM
We're redesigning our site and I'm trying to convince my boss that we should ditch the "portals" phrasing for our products. The problem is I'm not really sure what we should replace it with. I just think the portals phrase is too old buzz sounding.

What's the new catch phrase?

I don't think portal is necessarily a buzzword.  That's what we use because that's exactly what it is.

And when people hear portal they know what it is. Naming it something else to be different will probably just be confusing.
