Free backup software?
« on: December 25, 2009, 03:34:50 PM »
Any recommendations on a good, free or low cost backup program? Got a 1TB Iomega external HD under the tree. Don't have any super critical files, but there are a few things it would be nice to have a copy of. Thanks, & Merry Christmas!

It didn't come with any? Iomega usually does. I used a free one before i had Acronis, think it was called snappy backup. Snap...swap, something like that. IIRC it was open source.

It comes with one called EMC Retrospect Express, but reviews didn't sound too positive.
