Title: 1 vs 100

Anyone on XBL ever play this?  It's a trivia game in the vein of the TV show, but you play it against everyone.  I'm a big fan of trivia stuff, so having a free trivia game that runs basically all night is sweet.  Plus, if you are (randomly?) selected to be the 1 and go against the mob, you can win MS points.  So far I've made it to 5th out of a 9K person game and 7th of a 6K person game before missing some questions and tanking a bit.

I played a few rounds...Missed two on the science and math round, but I would've done better if I had used my safeties better.

Ok, dumb question, but does the PS3 have anything similar to XBL?  I want to play this game, I remember watching it on tv awhile ago and thinking how much fun it would be to be one of the contestents.

I had a 360, traded it in for a Wii, then won a PS3 in a contest.  Didn't like any of the 360 games at the time, especially since most I could get for the PC as well.

i played the 1  vs 100 game tonight and it was fun.   i started drinking at 10 wehn the gme started and now its  likr 12:4t5 and I'm still got a glass of jack and the whol e room is spinng. holy fuk ti'm drunk.   100 vs 1 is the best game ever@!!

I ended up playing 'cause my wife's father called at 9 and they always talk forever so I tuned into the game at 9:15 and played until it just got over a couple minutes ago.  yeah, she's still on the phone. LOL

interestingly, both times I've played the live version now, it has resulted in one of the other players on my randomly selected team of 4 friend requesting me at the end of the game. 

My wife makes fun of me for talking to strangers.  But its not like we're having deep philosophical and political conversations - its just like when you make small talk with the guy sitting next to you at the bar or in the seats next to you at the stadium. You share a common environment yet maintain anonymity.

Do you guys play games w/ your mic on?

I usually don't unless I know the person I'm playing with.  I've got a mental block with that kind of thing for some reason.  I would probably get on the mic with you guys though

The only guy in my group with a mic last time clearly forgot it was on.  We got to listen to him react to all the questions and cough into the mic for a half hour

No one I've played with has had a mic so far, and I usually don't have mine in.

Have either of you been in the mob or seen someone in your group get in the mob? Seems like it can't be completely random since I haven't seen anyone get in the mob in two live sessions.

I know it's not random, it's based on your ranking in the live games (I don't know about extended play).  Last week when the One looked like the host, that was someone from SA that my brother in law was playing with (I think they lost on a sudoku question).  My bro-in-law has also been in the mob once but said he bombed out quick
