Got a trial issue, this magazine is pretty cool! Mailing out the subscription for a year  :dblthumb2:

Finally read through the whole thing. My favorite part about this magazine is the equal balance between Windows, Mac, and Linux content. Theres an article on Open source and why it will never compete with paid software that i think was way off base, but other then that its pretty good.

Dude you have no idea. When i was in the hospital this weekend i was eating cliff bars cause i had a bunch of them and come monday i was passing a tree trunk. That mag got me thru

while we're recommending magazines, I've all but replaced Wired with MIT's bi-monthly Technology Review http://www.technologyreview.com/

I have good luck with Maximum PC.  Also I enjoy the PC Gamer and Maximum PC podcasts.  Engadget and Engadget HD have decent podcasts too but not nearly as good as PCG and MPC.
