Saw this yesterday arvo.  Was a lot better than I thought it would be, not anywhere near as arty as Burton's creations and not as dismal as the godawful Val Kilmer/George Clooney vehicles.  The lead guy, Christian Bale played Bruce Wayne and Batman really well - and Michael Caine was great as usual.  Katie Holmes was okay, but really anyone could've played her part.  Overall I'd give it 8/10, possibly the best Batman movie next to Burton's original.  It is a somewhat more mature comic book film - not as stylised as the Spiderman films, and dare I say, somewhat more believable.

I agree, but after all it is still based on a comic book "WHERE ARE THE REST OF THE DRUGS?!?!" hehe. okay movie, nothing special - I liked the training sequences. The whole movie seemed to kinda drag on for me, 6.5/10

Pretty badass, the second best of the series behind the original.  I totally agree with Bale overacting when he had the cape on, though.  7/10

Awesome movie.  The dialogue was a little cheezy at times, but overall I was impressed :)
