PHP Audio Libraries
« on: October 08, 2007, 12:16:15 PM »
Hey all you PHP guys, are there any good audio libraries that can do conversion and stuff like that? We've got a project that a client uses PHP to hook in and we're looking to help them format some audio files into the right file type. mu-law WAV format.

Any ideas?

this isnt exactly what you are looking for, but should help get you in the right direction. You could easily modify it to work with other conversions (or it seems you could, anyway).

"This class can be used to convert MP3 and WMA files to the OGG Vorbis format.

It uses the mp32ogg, mplayer and oggenc external programs to perform the conversions.

The converted audio samples are stored in separate files with given names."
