I am predicting an easy Obama win.

i think it is still very much up for grabs and that the state of the economy in the next few months will be the deciding factor. If it stays flat, like it is, or upticks - Obama will win. However, if the economy goes South - Romney will have a great shot for the top seat.

I still don't know who I'm voting for.
Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

I kind of feel the exact opposite.

Maybe it's the style of US media coverage that makes politics more like a sport?

That certainly doesn't help.

I think I am one of the few people that refuses to really watch mainstream news. I tend to take things from talk shows (Conan, Stewart, Stern, etc) and then look into the topics online from multiple sources. The few times I watch the news it is never Fox.

(edit, this was in reply to RoD's post)

so you're taking the "well the media is biased anyway so I'll only get my news from hyper-leftest sources and then trying and google the wharrgarbl myself" approach.

whatever works for you.

Have you ever seen Conan?  He's got all sorts of tics and constantly attacks cameramen.

If this is on page 3 for you, then you're doing it wrong.

And I realized you were doing that before I posted, but I figured I'd play along today. I was hoping for a funny comment to be made about it, but all we got was something incoherent about tics and cameraman. I don't even know what that means!

I'm taking the approach that most media outlets and reporters are more interested in shock, ratings, selling books and career advancement then giving a unbiased or even true report of current events.
