just came from the track at the local high school, ran the mile in 8.5 minutes!!  :dblthumb2: :woot:

Slow ass.  That pace wouldn't even pass the Marine PFT.

I think my best time ever was like 8:15 in high school (I was drafting a fat dude but he out kicked me at the end).

Marines require 10 minutes or under. 6 for seals.

I'm happy with my mark, seeing as how i wasnt break neck speed either. I set a comfortable pace and ran.

Back in school I ran a 49 second 400 meters so I assume that means I can run a mile in 3:30

This is in boots, if that matters. I always run in my Original Swats. After i do this a few times and my body isnt all pissed off i'll start trying to knock my time down.
