Stay out of this, limey.  Unless you want to see tea all over the floor you'll step away

On SA, a couple people have a bet going where the loser has to eat the winner's breakfast.  If England wins, the US guy has to eat a full english.  When the US wins, the English guy has to eat a chicken fried steak, grits, etc.  I thought it was kind of cool

I see what you did there...

That's the kind of bet I'd be happy to lose!

Likewise, although I don't think I could find blood or white pudding anywhere around here, and I'm sure as hell not going to try to make it

I don't think grits come in a singular form.  I have no idea what they actually are.

Grits can also be fried. The boiled grits are left to cool in a pan or mold. The resulting block of firm, cooled grits are cut with a knife or wire, and the slices are fried in a fat such as vegetable oil, butter, or bacon grease.

That... doesn't sound good.

Yeah, I've thought the grits I've had were pretty bad, but they were at a chain restaurant and southerners insist I just haven't had "good ones"

That is my family's traditional Christmas breakfast. Or at least something like it. We don't call it grits, we call it fried corn meal mush, but I think it's basically the same. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mush_%28cornmeal%29

Didn't you read the chart? They were evenly matched.

That chart is pretty dumb.  There's no way RSA has a better shot at the cup than the US or an equal one to Mexico.
