I refuse to buy any printer that isn't HP, but if I had to make an alternate choice I would jump to the canon ship. They make great products and their printers uphold that.

Nice Knuck.  We have the MP830.  I think you'll love it.

Good to know.  HP would likely be low on my list due to their bloatware.  It is too invasive for my liking.

Looked at that one as my second choice.  Think I made a mistake?

This Epson was my third place contender.  But I was worried about quality issues.

Lexmark was out due to a dramatic drop in support and quality for the home and or home office market.

What are your issues with each?

Crap quality. If either of them even has a quality control or inspection department it must be run by parapalegic monkeys

The MP series is pretty solid all around.  I think you'll be fine.  I think they all take the same ink and it is usually the cheapest at wholesale clubs (we get ours at Costco).  I love my MP830 but I don't really know what yours has to offer.  I do know ours was more than twice the cost.

Any future printer I get will have to have wireless network ability.  I just like it too much now.

I must be out of touch. All my emails from td, mwave, etc only feature printers that do

I got it.  I like it.  It blows the Lexmark X6150 I had previously away in every respect.  So far anyway.

Thing prints amazing photographs and damned fast too.
