laptop for a kid
« on: November 03, 2009, 01:30:30 PM »
A good friend wants to buy her daughter a laptop for chirstmas. She's looking at the smaller type ones, in the area of $300. She mentioned a disney one or something but this kid is smart so let's rule out any of those closed purpose kinda of "toy" laptops.

She is six, but a very smart six. Something she can learn on, play games on, and has wireless. My first thought is the small ones walmart has, but I don't know what is out there and I'm out of touch

Depends on what you mean by "play games on"... but why not get her a netbook?
