We ended up just staying away from people for a couple days while we got checked out. My wife needed antibiotics, but otherwise we were allowed to visit everybody (just met my new niece a couple hours ago). She (wife) will have a gross cough for a while (maybe up to 3 months!) but otherwise we're good enough.
