Title: Spam recipes?
Post by: hans on April 24, 2007, 10:12:41 PM
I don't know if any of you noticed (it takes me a while sometimes) but it appears that when you check the Spam emails in GMail, they have spam recipes as the ad links.

I like to chill the spam can, then wipe off all the gel and eat slices of cool spam. Yummy. We also fry it up with fried rice and eggs, but straight from the can is best IMHO.

It has been so many years since I have had Spam, I no longer remember the taste.  I remember thinking it tasted like ass as a young child though.  Been afraid to try it ever since.

I also remember Vienna sausages tasting even worse.

This wasn't supposed to be a thread where people discuss spam recipes, it was an observation on the humor of Google.

Oh well.

Vienna sausages are freaking awesome. Same as spam, chill 'em, remove the gel, pop 'em in the mouth.

Oh, and tgm, your observation was certainly amusing. I went to my GMail Spam folder and saw the same thing. 7/10

I could do the kimchi, but not the spam.  How about some bimibap?

What is bimibap?

And I think it a bit sad that we like rotten cabbage more than Spam.

Is Spam beef?  Pork?  Or the dreaded "meat product"?

Bibimbap (http://"http://www.trifood.com/bibimbop.html") literally means "mixed rice."  <3 It's like comfort food for me.  Haha.  And it's not rotten cabbage, it's fermented, and it's delicious.
