--- Quote from: charlie on September 15, 2020, 06:23:01 PM ---Ok so the story is that Netflix took what is apparently a totally reasonable and well reviewed movie released outside the U.S. and then changed up the marketing for a U.S. audience but in doing so made gross ads/posters/etc, that made it look like it totally inappropriate.

So yes, who knows wtf Netflix was thinking there. But the movie itself is probably fine.

--- End quote ---

can't say either way because I didn't see it, but there are a couple people that I trust who did see it and both (female and male) said the movie is disgusting.

charlie:
Ok... I'm skeptical but I have no plans to watch it to make up my own mind so :dunno:

Perspective:
I also have no plans to watch it, but I put in in the same class as "toddlers in tiaras" from the ads I saw.

jkim:
Same. I'm sure there is value in the reception it received outside of the US but I have no plans to watch it and I don't have Netflix right now so  :dunno:

KnuckleBuckett:
No interest at all.  Seems like a very Neflix move tho.
