like so many other consumer commodities, the cost of ammo has really been going up.  In some cases by 200-400% in the last few years.  Since I really only shoot for fun, its kind of dumb to waste $20 on a 100 rounds of 9mm when I can get 100 rounds of .22 for a third the price.

So yesterday I bought myself the SigSauer Mosquito .22

My wife borrowed our good camera and is out of town today, so here's the best pic I could take.  This is my new Sig (top) next to my Smith & Wesson M&P 9mm.

yeah, Sig was never really on my radar until recently. I have a friend who's a federal law enforcement officer and he swears by his.  I was in the market for a .22 and found this "smaller" version of their p226.

Thanks Stealth, i've edited the post to fix my error and avoid any future confusion.

So Ethic, I'm guessing you'd be EXTRA uncomfortable w/ the Crimson Trace Laser Grips I was thinking of getting.

I've just started playing airsoft these last couple months. Bought airsoft replicas of the H&K G36 and Beretta M92. It's probably more fun to chase each other (and sheep) around the mountains of Wales with real guns though.

I even own camo! Gawd I'm sad.
