IE margin bug
« on: August 23, 2008, 04:40:06 PM »
Third time's the charm (I've been having posting problems).

I stumbled on an IE bug.

I've been working on a tab content section and thought I had a cross browser version until I added a header element and found that in IE, it applies whatever margin the h element has to my tabs.
I could add a background colored border around the div and that seems to "fix" it but I'd rather not do that.

Anybody see this before? Have a fix or know what the bug is called?

I'm not sure that's it, I think it's close to the "hasLayout" bug, but I can't find a direct example of what I'm trying to do. For now, I've decide I'm just going to keep my header elements with 0 margin and use a div wrapper to apply the margin. Haven't tried it out yet but I think it'll work.
