I broke down and read the third book. It was great, but holy crap I've never been so angry at a fictional character before

Well, I read the second book in "A Song of Ice and Fire."  That's about the second book I've read this year. It's really interesting to read the books after watching the series. And now I've got to decide if I should continue the trend and wait until the next season airs to read the third book...

I was asking which charactrer. No need to ask which book he specified the third one.

I'm about half way through "No Country for Old Men". Pretty good read so far once you get used to the terrible southern style grammar.

I finished the whole "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo/who played with fire/that kicked the hornet's nest" series. First book was the best but the whole series was enjoyable.

So Game of Thrones. I'm only partway into book one, I think like the third chapter. It is going to be a real test of memory I can see already because there are so many characters and relationships to remember. Going to be difficult to keep track.

at least you don't have to keep track for very long because everyone dies :p
Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

I actually really like that aspect of the books because you miss a lot of connections and subtle things the first time through. Means it's totally worth a second or third read

Is the TV show the same struggle? I know a lot of people really rave about it

The TV show is sort of distilled down, so it's easier to follow. Plus, it's easier to recognize and remember faces than names
