That's what I thought too, but it was just as bad when my wife was taking the pics.

However, I did find out that there was a firmware upgrade for the camera, so I did that and played around with some settings.  I think for the most part, the flash wasn't kicking on strong enough and it was compensating for the bad light in the rooms we were shooting in.  I took a few pics with some settings changed and they look a lot better.  I have yet to take any pics outside, but I'm sure they'll come out good.

I got this one a while ago: http://www.steves-digicams.com/2005_reviews/t5.html

Then it fell in to a pool...I think it may just need a new battery, but I really have no idea what to do with it. I took the outer casing mostly off to let it dry, and I think I lost a few screws in the process on top of everything.

Lovely, really.

The camera itself was pretty good, but in all honesty a few of the pictures I took with it came out blurry for no real reason--I was outside for chrissakes. And the little slide cover was cool, but it would slide down in my pocket 99% of the time.

Are you zooming in when taking pictures?  It could be a slow shutter speed..

I just treated myself to one of these http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/Z740/Z740A.HTM mainly for the 10x optical zoom.

Not had a chance to use it seriously yet, but it looks pretty good so far.

the same holds true for mine (fuzzy pix), but its only when i'm zooming.  if i'm not zoomed in, the pic is fine, but when i zoom, it seems like it cant focus.

then again, it could be my palsy, i can't keep still and it transfers to my photo taking :(

Well, I've since played with mine and determined that I'm a complete jackass and I shouldn't be allowed to use a camera.  I had the anti-shake feature off (which I need because I always shake), and I wasn't using the right "best shot" setting... basically meaning that I wasn't using enough flash indoors.  When I increase that... wa-lah... they come out great.  :)
