1) There's this park near my house with a pretty extensive trail system. If you go far enough in, you reach a hill that overlooks the interstate. It's great because I feel like I'm performing for the world!
2) The pool at my gym. nuff said
3) Local elementary school monkey bars. It's a wonderful way to recapture your youth, even if it is 3 in the morning and you're halfway into a case of High Life
4) The museum. Just tell people you're a piece of performance art. This is how I got my first professional gig. His name was Lawrence, but I called him Larry.
5) Costco. The extra high racks make it hard for security to get to you once they discover you. First, you're going to need a few loaves of french bread. This is important. Then, I usually steal one of those lifts that they use to put things up high. I drive it into a remote corner where it's not likely to be found (most stores have 2 of the lifting machines, so you may want to slash the other one's tires), and raise myself up to the top shelf. Make sure you have the bread, because you're going to need those to get across the rows. Just lay them across the empty space between shelves and shimmy across. 2 loaves are enough to carry the average man (stealth you might want 3 or 4). They're long enough to span the void, as long as you're careful. With enough patience, you'll be front and center to an audience that won't be able to remove you. They'll be forced to stare in awe as you perform the entire catalog of Gunter von Yodelstein.
The nice thing about this hobby is that most of the special locations can be found almost anywhere. Post some of yours!
