Eh... if I'm going to read a book, I'd rather have the actual book.  If I'm using my iPhone, I'm playing a game.... which coincidentally is why I haven't read lately... iPhone gaming has replaced reading as my shitting activity.  :D

I really liked the first Temeraire book, got a little annoyed with the second book, and gave up on the third book halfway through unfortunately.

Yeah.  I can see that.  I find it drags out a bit.  Little preachy too.  But it is picking up nicely now.

What's it All About? Michael Caine (autobiography)
Boldly Going Where Captain Cook Has Gone Before Tony Horwitz
The War of Don Emmanuel's Nether Parts Louis de Bernières

Plus a few whitepapers, doco on SharePoint and the odd newspaper (Guardian Weekly).

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that I'm reading "The Servant" - a book about leadership. I was apprehensive at first, but it is written like a novel and reads really well. So far it has given me a new perspective on leadership and made me re examine the way I manage my office. I recommend it to everybody, whether or not you are in a leadership position.

Take your time listening to it. There is a lot of good stuff in it. I usually read a few pages and think about them. This is the sort of book I see my self going back to periodically throughout my career.

I've been reading "Prodigal God" and will probably start either "The Reason for God" or "Blue Like Jazz" soon.

I've also been reading lots of review articles 'bout DNA and protein and fun stuff like that for class.

I feel like I should be an enigma.

3 things:

1. I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell - Tucker Max
2. Great Santini - Pat Conroy
3. Agincourt - Bernard Cornwell (Audiobook)

Because it's easy and amusing.
