Ok whats the big news. IDNs already work with non latin characters. In fact this has been a huge security problem as of late.

... and at the moment, tld's are all latin as I understand it. That's what really changes I guess.

Ok, must have glossed over the TLD part. That is certainly a different thing then I was thinking. I was thinking of the 2nd level part.
I wonder if the TLD will employ the same trick as the rest of it.
