Well I would definitely get a big memory card for it... I was figuring on that.  And I don't really use that type of thing all that much.  It would mainly be for long trips and whatnot.

I use GPS on my blackberry and it doesn't cost me a dime - granted it doesn't look like a "turn by turn" and it doesn't use google maps, but it still works pretty damn well.

And I just checked, I don't have the curve, I have the 8830 :dunno:

I have google maps for finding places near me or for when I don't have.a clear gps signal. Otherwise I use telenav and it works flawlessly.

Just got a call from my local Verizon store.

I'm on their Guest List - which means I have a Storm set aside under my name waiting for me between 0900 - 1000 AM.  So as long as I get ther before 1000AM, I have a Storm.

And this Friday just happens to be my regular day off.

All these questions about the curve might be completely worthless for me.  I asked work about paying for the data fees and as of right now, I think they're going to put me on the company plan and give me an iphone. :cool2:

Ok, but here's my take.  I'm in front of a PC 95% of the time I want to conduct business.  I use my phone to call people and send occasional txts.  I want to be able to play music and read my email from time to time.  Most of the email I have to respond to requires more than a smart phone anyways. 

I probably won't browse much on it and I'll have the latest model and I hear the software and touch screen have come a long way since the early models.  I just played with a 3G in Best Buy 2 weeks ago and I didn't see any major flaws with it.

I read up on the reasons to go one way or the other and honestly I think the iPhone would be fine.
