Cucumbers VS Pickles
« on: March 12, 2008, 02:01:59 PM »
I'm all for eating a whole pickle or pickle spears and such, but lately I've been converted to swapping regular cucumbers in place of pickles on my sandwiches and stuff. They just have a nice crunchier taste and less soggy flavor. Crisp and refreshing. Mmmm.

In the sandwich it is cucumbers all the way, though there are some sandwiches that call for pickles instead.  Pickles on the side are great though.

pickles all the way (but not in salads)

on the sandwich or on the side.  Yummy yummy.
I like the half-sour deli dills, halved or whole, the best.

I'm not a pickle fan, cucumbers are great though.

btw, if you're in Germany and they ask you if you want cucumbers on your sandwich... the really mean pickles. bleh.

I added an applicable option for me.  I can't stand either.

+1

As long as it's not a burger, cucumbers in the sandwich and pickle on the side.

so yesterday I was at the supermarket and I picked up a jar of pickles and the who ride home I was thinking about eating one as a snack and I got home and unloaded the groceries and there were no pickles.  :dunno: I checked the receipt and it showed that I never bought them.  I have no idea how they didn't make it through the checkout.  I really had my heart set on those pickles  :(
