Anyone tried this recently?

I never liked the xfce desktop manager in the past, but the recent version seems to have had a makeover. Feels like a stripped down Gnome (uses GTK like Gnome) and runs very nicely on my old celeron powered dell laptop.

Well worth a look if you want a 'buntu without the gnome-bloat.

I used it on an older box that didn't have much horsepower. I liked it, but I use the regular Ubuntu flavor for my current boxes. Great on older boxes for sure though.
