I love Stratovarius..... they're definately my favorite band in that genre. Others include Blind Guardian and Rhapsody.

really?? thats what I like best about Blind Guardian... his voice is rough, yet opratic... some of the others get too mellow.

Blind Guardian are amazing.

I've never given Strato much of a go. Sonata Arctica were about as far as I went with power metal.

it freaks me out b/c i'm expecting this loug angry guy whine b/c his daddy never hugged him, and instead, its some dude singing falsetto - not what i expect when i think of "power metal"

I think I grew to like Hansi'd singing now... Majesty or Guardian of the Blind is now my top favorites currently.
