These guys hail from my city (Brisbane). They have a sort of Jeff Buckley quality, with hints of early REM. Very melodic and not clichéd in the least, which is a rarity for modern guitar pop-rock. There's one song from their second EP called "Be Strong" - it's easily the best song I've heard all this year of any genre. You can d/l some samples here:

I actually saw them last night and they were fantastic - and funnily enough, the girl I'm seeing knows the lead guitarist, so I got to meet the band as well :cool2:. All very nice chaps, unassuming and very modest of their collective talent.
