More tooth tales

So I got my wisdom teeth out this morning. I'd like to say it wasn't that bad, but I really can't since the last thing I remember before the actually surgery is having the IV inserted :D Really, the worst part is the numbness afterwards (which still hasn't entirely worn off on one side of my face...) That and the fact that I'm supposed to be careful about what I eat for a while.

I know there's been a couple posts here about teeth issues, so for you guys, did you wimp out or did you actually get something done about it?

PS This officially brings my extracted teeth count to 20 (12 baby teeth, 4 permanent, 4 wisdom teeth). I have a small mouth.

i'm overdue for a dentist visit - bleh. My insurance doesn't kick in til september though...and i doubt i will have time till the holidays. But i do feel a cavity forming as one tooth hurts hen i eat sweets. I hate the dentist.

I didn't go in to the dentist for the five years I was in college. Once I got a job and insurance, I went ahead with it. The dentist only found 17 cavities, one of which required a root canal and two others that required crowns. No big deal. Since then, I've had another 10 cavities or so. Too much chocolate, I guess.

Then again, maybe I should start brushing and flossing. :shrug:

damn dude. I only had 4, and 3 of which happened when i was a kid.

Hmm, I drink a ton of milk too. And maybe it wasn't 27, I don't remember exactly. It could have been only 25 or maybe 30.

Damn Willy Wonka! Freakin' lifetime supply of chocolate what the hell was he thinking?!?
