That was VERY well done.
agreed. exceptional.
That was powerful.
Reminds me of a few weeks back at my church, a woman gave her testimoney about why she is a Christian. I've heard lots of these stories before - usually the people are involved in drugs or alcohol, in gangs and prison and then somehow they turn their life around, but this woman's testimony wasn't really like that at all. Her's was about how she grew up as one of the people in that video, even attempting suicide and being institutionalized for a period and then becoming an adult and still feeling worthless because of the emotional scars of childhood. Her testimony wasn't like others I've heard where the person became a Christian and instantly stopped smoking and robbing connivence stores. Her story lied in the realization that God made her beautiful and that He loves her beyond all conceived notions of love. That there is nothing she could do to make Him love her less. That when the world seemed against her, she was protected and held. It was only that realization and that relationship that made her love herself. I'm probably not conveying her story very well but when she told it, there wasn't a dry eye in the building.
