H.G Wells

Ive been getting into all of the 40's,50's and 60's science fiction because I liked the way they envisioned the future back then. They thought we'd go in much different directions than we actually have and are untainted by influences of actual scientific advances which make the stories too familiar, I think.

These things I found were even more evident in H.H Wells' writing seeing as he was doing it all around the turn of the 20th century, making books like War of the Worlds and the Time Machine all the more excellent!
