I was going to compliment you on a great idea using carpet padding for the workout area.  Cheap durable and effective.

You know people give big $$ for tile like that these days.  Assuming you can get it out without ruining it, care to, and can locate the buyer.

what bench did you get?

also, be warned, working out at gym with a buddy > working out alone at home. I get motivated every once in a whiule, do it for about 6-8 weeks, and lose steam.

I work out at the gym alone when I go, so I'm not worried about that.  If anything I expect the opposite, since I don't have the excuse of not wanting to drive there or anything anymore

UPS tracking is horrible.  I can tell, sitting at work, that my bench is already on my porch and that my rack should be delivered today.  I feel like the swolest kid on christmas morning (except my parents have locked me in my room for the rest of the day) :(

I usually just use my cellphone since it's more convenient.  My wife's camera works fine for anything that I want to look pretty

bump to track my training for the Warrior Dash and general other stuff

Having a weight loss competition with my wife between her birthday (1/21) and mine (7/24).  If I win she has to buy me a new backpack for hiking.  If I lose I have to buy her a full day at a spa.  We're both doing the low carb thing.  Started at 208.5 3 weeks ago, weighed in at 200.5 on Monday.  Doing the same basic program from the beginning of the thread.

Monday: Legs
Tuesday: Arms
Wednesday: Cardio or Rest
Thursday: Chest
Friday: Back

My working squat weight is 185x5, my DB bench is 65x5, deadlift is unknown because I'm convinced my form is totally hosed.  Probably about 275x5 once I get that worked out.  Joined this gym because even though I have stuff in my basement I don't seem to ever use it.  This probably has a lot to do with why I was at 208 before I started this.  The gym has a lot of neat conditioning equipment that I'd like to use but I am a little intimidated by.  Still tracking my food on livestrong when I can.

I'm going to be out of town for work next week, but in general I'm traveling a lot less than I was.  I've already figured out where I can workout when I'm on the road.
