Unfortunately I did walk a little bit, but not much.  I'm not sure of my time, but I think it was in the 35 minute range.  Hopefully I'll find out later today.  The two guys I was with were about 26 minutes or so - I was with them for the first half and fell off hard at the end.

It was 20 degrees on the way to the race, but we hung out in a warm restaurant until 10 minutes before the start.  The cold was annoying but not bad after the first few minutes.  Thankfully there was almost no wind

If you've never done a 5k then 35 minutes isn't bad.

The fuckers who'd run 3 miles under 18 minutes always made me puke.  Mainly cause they were just sticks with legs.

Yeah I know what you mean.  I think I've got a mental advantage over someone who just wandered over to start running, though.   I've got a better idea of how to control my breathing, form, etc.

Today I started an EC stack!  It was kind of weird to buy stuff from Meijer and be like "I promise not to make meth with this"

Apparently the Walmart near here sells Bronkaid, too.  It seems more appropriate to buy ephedrine from there.

I'm just trying it out, it's not as if I'm injecting roids into my ass or something like that.  It's a pretty common weightloss strategy.

Just ran 2 miles as a recovery run.  Walked for about a minute in the middle, but I felt strong

Official results for yesterday's 5K came out - I finished 10th in our age group officially, at 30:24.3!  I'm beyond psyched at that time!  Unofficially I came in 11th because one of the guys I was running with (a 28 year old) registered as a 82 year old.

I stopped twice to walk, but I never felt like my heart was racing.  I don't know why I stopped in either case.  It was just kind of like "going going going time to walk!".  Now I'm ticked because if I wouldn't have walked one of those times I could have broken 30 minutes
