So I've been bitching about the performance of my work laptop for a while now but it hasn't gotten me anywhere.  So today I complained that I haven't been able to print for months (I rarely print so I've just been emailing people to print stuff for me).  Our IT guy comes to check it out and said that my laptop has so few resources that it often stops the print spooler service from functioning... so now pretty much anytime I want to print something, I have to restart the spool service.

He's now going to say something to my boss about a new laptop for me.   :dblthumb2:

Oops... I meant z60m.  I get my laptops mixed up.  My dell was a 600m.  I think it's from 2005/2006.

Got it today.  ThinkPad T510.  Runs pretty good so far, but I think the video card is kind of crappy.  There is a wasted gig of ram in it though because they only got 32-bit windows.  GRR...

I think there was something with some of our software or our network shit that stopped them from going 64.
