10/9 Central
« on: June 24, 2012, 08:35:25 PM »
When a TV show says "Tonight at 10 Eastern, 9 Central".....why is there no pacific? Like i don't care to hear that over and over with pacific added on but i just wonder why they chose eastern and central when most of them come out of the pacific.
hey ethic if you and i were both courting lily allen..... oh wait, which one of us has a relationship that lasted more than the bus ride home?

Why do you park in a driveway but drive on a parkway

The real question is why they don't list Mountain.  Most of the time shows are shown in the same hour as Eastern (so a show in the 10pm Eastern slot will be seen at 10pm Pacific).  Only time that isn't true is when the stream comes from the East coast and I have to adjust the three hours.

I imagine the phrase came when there was one stream that served both the eastern and central time zones and separate streams for Mountain and Pacific.

I also don't recall hearing that in a long time.  And I think I've only heard it on network TV.

I didn't know that. So basically when it says 10pm there it's no different for you because it will be on at 10 there. Thats the answer I was looking for.

I had not heard it for a long time either, I just happened to on TBS tonight.
