Well right before spring break I left my USB stick at the computer lab and of course it went poof.

Today while we were at Costco I noticed that had some and got a 1 gig for ~75 bucks which is like 15 more then I got my 256 two years ago.

Ive been thinking about getting one also. Well the one I was looking at was an mp3 player/usb key.  I just keep asking myself, how often will I use it...

Ever take files from one place to another that are too big to fit on a CD but you don't want to waste a CDR?  I have a 64MB that I used all the freakin time in school.

Nah not a hardware forum as I'm just boasting. :)

I used my pervious stick a lot.  They are 1 x 10^(1 * 10 ^ (1 * 10^5000000)) times more reliable then floppy disks, are more reusable then CDs, fast as hell, and they look cool :)

My 1gb shuffle was $120, and it has a media player built into it. :D

(I use it for storage :()

My brother and his family got me a portable CD player that reads MP3s off of the CD for christmas for my musical needs.  :)
